Flagler Beach was once known as Ocean City back in the early 1920’s, but got incorporated in 1925. Just a few years later, the Flagler Beach Pier was built and extended out 800ft. Due to extensive damage from storms over the years, the pier is a lot shorter in length today. Read about how this photograph was taken here.
