Fallen oak trees bleached white by the salt water and sun seem to emerge from below the sands at Big Talbot Island State Park. This area is called Boneyard Beach because the trees resemble skeletal remains. I took this photo a little after sunrise as the sun created long shadows with the trees. I knew I would process it in black and white because of all the contrast.
